3. What time of the year is best for travelling in your country?

Помните, что вопросы необязательно должны начинаться именно так. Главное, проанализируйте саму суть вопроса, и затем применяйте наши рекомендации.

Порядок ответа

• Скажите экзаменатору, какое время лучшее для X
• Опишите какие в этот момент условия (например, погода, социальные условия)
• Объясните, ПОЧЕМУ, это лучшее время.

Вам нужно освоить следующую структуру:

1. Использовать превосходную степень правильно (“Burabay is the most beautiful place in Kazakhstan”. /” This is the best time to travel”)
2. Использовать предлоги времени правильно для дня, месяца или года  (“Beijing is beautiful in the late fall” /” Beijing is beautiful at any time of the year”)
3. Используйте несколько разговорных фраз для условий. (“The winter months are ideal for skating”/” The summer is perfect for hiking in the mountains”)

Однако, такие ответы и утверждения не всегда верны, поскольку зависят от различных обстоятельств. В таких случаях, нам поможет фраза «Depend on»

• Depend on может использоваться самостоятельно.

The availability of train tickets during the New Year depends on the amount of people travelling.

The best time to do exercise depends on people’s lifestyles.

• Или «depend on» может использоваться с герундием (V+ing)

Finding a good job depends on having good qualifications.

Being happy doesn’t necessarily depend on being very rich.

Interviewer: What time of the year is best for outdoor activities where you live?

Candidate: I think the best time of year to do outdoor activities is either in the summer or in the winter, because it depends on what activities you would like to do. The weather between June and early September provides the best conditions for rock climbing, boating, mountain biking and playing sports like tennis and football because it’s warm, sunny and bright. However, if you are into winter activities like ice-skating, sledging and figure-skating then the depth of winter is the best time to do them

Interviewer: What’s the best time of day to study?

Candidate: I think the best time of day to study is in the very early morning, just after dawn. This is the quietest time of the day, when there’s no else around and everywhere is completely silent. This means I’m able to really get into what I’m studying and not be distracted by friends or family. It’s definitely the most productive time of day for me, I just find it difficult to get up so early!
